FAQ's

1. Where do I go first?
Set your GPS to 900 Broadway, which is between 9th and 10th Streets in downtown Columbus. Do not go to the CSU main campus!
2. Where can I park my car?
If you are staying in the dorm, you can park in the Front Avenue deck across from W.C. Bradley at 1017 Front Avenue. The 3rd-5th levels are reserved for CSU access cards, which dorm residents will receive.
You may use the CSU faculty lot on Broadway near 9th while you check in at registration. For daily parking, the parking deck directly across from the RiverCenter is $2 a day. The parking deck at the Trade Center (Exhibits) is free. You can also park along Broadway in the Historic district on the brick for free.
3. I am flying into Atlanta. How far is it to Columbus?
BY CAR: Navigate to 900 Broadway, 31901. Atlanta-Columbus is a 90-minute drive.
BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT: We recommend that you purchase tickets to ride the Groome Transportation van from the Atlanta Airport to Columbus http://columbus.groometransportation.com/book-now/ ; for an extra fee, Groome will take you all the way to the conference site (RiverCenter for the Performing Arts, 900 Broadway, Columbus Georgia 31901). International travelers: In Atlanta, it will be necessary first to ride the free airport bus from the International Terminal to the Domestic Terminal, where the Groome van will depart.
4. I am staying in a dorm. Where do I check in and what are the check-in hours?
25 W. 10th St, between Broadway and Front Ave.
Saturday 6/25: 10 am-6pm
Sunday 6/26: 10 am-6pm
Monday 6/27: 10 am-6pm
Tuesday 6/28: 10 am-6pm
Wednesday 6/29: 10 am-6pm

5. I am flying into CSG airport. Can I take a taxi to the conference site?
Yes, we recommend that you phone from Atlanta for a taxi to meet your plane in Columbus. One of the busier companies is Gold Star Taxi (706) 562-8888. Here is a complete list of local taxi companies: http://www.yellowpages.com/columbus-ga/taxi-service
6. What should I bring for my dorm stay?
You will need to bring a pillow, since the linen service does not provide these. You will also need to bring your own toiletries. The Market on Broadway on the corner of 10th & Broadway sells some toiletry items should you forget something.
7. My plans have changed, and I cannot attend. How do I get a refund?
Phone CSU Continuing Education between 8 am - 5 pm Eastern time, Monday through Friday, at 706-507-8070. Please note that dormitory and Teen Camp purchases are non-refundable after June 12. All refunds will be charged a $15 processing fee.
8. How do I order conference CDs?
You can order these online starting June 26, 2016 through June 30, 2017. Click here for the order form and set of ordering instructions. 
9. What is the weather like in Columbus this time of year?
Hot outside, usually over air-conditioned inside. We suggest you dress in layers and be sure to have a sweater or light jacket for inside. A travel umbrella is also a good idea in case of an afternoon storm. It can also provide some shade on those HOT days!
10. Where can I check-in or register for the conference?
Conference check-in and registration will be in the main lobby of the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts at 900 Broadway.
Hours for the registration desk will be:

* For pre-registered attendees only. This will be in the lobby of the Schwob School of Music (900 Broadway, corner of 9th St. and Broadway)

11. Where can I access free wifi?
12. I am staying in the dorms. What do I need to bring?
Bed and bath linens will be provided. You will need to bring your own pillow and toiletries as these are not provided.
13. I forgot when my sound check is.
Go to the check-in table in the RiverCenter lobby during registration hours. They can find your sound check in the schedule.
